Friday night: Symphony Under the Stars

One of the major highlights of the annual Brisbane Festival is Symphony Under the Stars. It’s set in the wonderful atmosphere of Roma Street Parklands and brought to you for FREE by the Queensland Symphony Orchestra. This year’s session under the guidance of Marco Zuccarini as well as special guests, tenor Kang Wang and Principal trumpet, Sarah Wilson.

STILL GOING AHEAD AS THE RAIN HAS MOVED ON! BRING A BLANKET TO AVOID A WET BUM.

You’ve seen me mention previously my appreciation of classical music (despite not being an expert, I probably wouldn’t be able to tell the difference between Brahms, Tchaikovsky and Mozart). This is a really chilled back evening which you can invite family and friends, bring a picnic basket and BYO alcohol (only plastic cups – no glass in public areas).
