Continuing with the expansion of Brisbane’s laneway culture (as part of the Vibrant laneways program) comes Hutton Lane, adjoining onto Adelaide St, just a few streets over from Eagle Street. On the first Friday of every month will be an exhibition of art and performances as part of the LIVE program. Come check it out tonight from 5pm!
Love Vintage Show is back this year at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre in South Bank. Opens tonight (Friday 5th) but continues over the weekend. Saturday 10-5, Sunday 10-4. Single day tickets (Adult $14) are available on the door as well as online (the link doesn’t seem to work at the moment though). Les Gold from TV show, Hardcore Pawn, will also be there for meet-and-greets!

Brisbane City Hall Re-dedication Week – 6 Apr – 14 Apr – After three years of critical restoration and repair, City Hall is ready to open its doors once again. A re-dedication ceremony will be held in King George Square on Saturday 6 April, followed by a week of activities to celebrate the return of Brisbane’s most cherished icon. The Cube – new interactive space open to public 10am – 4pm, 7 days a week. This sweet new space in QUT Gardens Point campus is a mecca for all new digital technology learning and interaction. There’s heaps of events that appeal to students, academics as well as the general public. Many displays are free and regularly change so make sure you return every now and then.
