Bowtie for Branson

Richard Branson is a man, you may recognise him from such airlines as Virgin Australia.

He’s rich, powerful and supports all sort of great causes and charities.

He’s coming to Brisbane next week.

Richard will hopefully sport Undress Brisbane’s signature bowtie made from 100% recycled red leather, a la Virgin-style.

This project stems from the efforts of Edda, who runs Undress Brisbane. A sustainable fashion show in Brisbane. I went to the first show last year in September and blogged about it here. Undress Brisbane is raising awareness for how we shop, wear and dispose of our clothes. They promote consumers to think about where they source their clothes. Do you know it’s origins? Was it produced in a sustainable manner?

Fingers crossed that Richard Branson will be up for the good deed!
